The Derbyshire Classical Association
Derbyshire Classical Association are excited to present a talk given by Dr Selena Wisnom from the University of Leicester on 'The Great Library at Nineveh: Mesopotamia and the Making of History'. Entry is free to DCA members; further information about the talk and tickets for non-members are available here or on the night for £5 or £2 for U-18s. U-16s must be accompanied by an adult. The event will take place on Tuesday 2nd December, in the main hall of Strutts Community Centre, Belper, with doors opening at 7 fora 7.30 pm start. Drinks and refreshments will be available.
All our events include the opportunity to find out more about teaching the ancient world at primary or secondary level by talking to Classics for All regional network co-ordinator and branch chair, Jane Ainsworth.
