CSCP Ovid Competition 2027

The Cambridge School Classics Project (CSCP)'s annual Ovid Competition for Year 7 student returns for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Judging and awarding will take place in the Spring Term 2027. The deadline for competition entries will be Friday 12th February 2027, although of course you are free to submit entries sooner if you are ready.

Please do take a look at the Guidance Document before beginning your planning. Students should make use of our Classical Tales retellings of Ovid's Metamorphoses to come up with a creative response to the myths in any one of our five categories:

Performance

Artefact

Creative Writing

Animation

Comic, cartoon or graphic novel
