Inspiration

If you haven't already, you can watch Professor Matthew Nicholl's webinar here, where he talks about his large digital model of anceint Rome, and how he built it. You can also find QR codes to some of his models in the session PDF. Professor Matthew Nicholls has made a large digital model of ancient Rome. This work has found many uses, from a free online course about the ancient city to use in museum displays and the movie Gladiator II. In this talk he will introduce the model and then use it to discuss the architecture and built environment of the ancient city, including the Suburra. There will be the opportunity to explore part of the area for yourself. If you have any questions, send us an email to contact@hands-up-education.org.
